Born in a redbrick city west of Boston in, I fell in love with the intricate cadences and wordplay in rap music. The rhythm of Mos Def and Method Man. The sharpened steel of truth from Black Thought. The funk of Nappy Roots. The pain of Eyedea. The arrogance of Apathy, and the imagination of Aesop Rock. I felt those things and wanted to express them. I started wrting rap in 2002 and now 20+ years later, over 100 songs, a severe battle with heroin and alcohol and a move across the country, here we are. My nom de plume is Euphonic Aspekt, and I search for those words that got left behind.
